Beta Testers Wanted

LavWell Technologies is testing an innovative new product, the Guardian Lav smart wellness toilet. The Guardian Lav passively tracks the user’s hydration score and urine temperature, providing valuable wellness data and promoting healthy habits.

The Guardian Lav will feature additional personal health trends in the future, such as UTI detection, prostate health indicators, cardiovascular health indicators, and other important indicators of personal health and wellness

LavWell is actively recruiting participants for a free beta test of the Guardian Lav.

Target Participant

LavWell is seeking beta test participants in the following categories:

• Assisted living facility residents with a private restroom
• Health conscious consumers with an interest in tracking wellness indicators

Benefits

• Receive real-time monitoring of user hydration levels

Responsibilities

• Use the toilet regularly during the duration of the beta test period
• Provide feedback to LavWell on the device, app, and user experience
• Store the original toilet to be reinstalled at the end of the test period

Duration

The beta test period is two months.

LavWell will install the Guardian Lav at the beginning of the test period, and re-install the original toilet at the end of the test period.

Site Evaluation

Most sites will require an additional electrical outlet next to the toilet. LavWell will provide a licensed electrician to install a GFCI protected outlet next to the toilet.

Data Privacy

LavWell Technologies will maintain user data with confidentiality and security, and will comply with all applicable data protection laws and regulations. Participant’s personally identifying information will be stored in a separate location from participant wellness data. LavWell may use all collected data internally for product development or other purposes. Under no conditions will participant data be shared with any third party.

1. The Guardian Lav measures urine temperature, which may be an indicator of overall wellness. This data should not be used to diagnose or treat any disease. Any concerns regarding your health should be discussed with your medical provider. LavWell Technologies makes no claim related to measurement of body temperature.
2. The Guardian Lav looks at patterns in urination frequency, duration, and consistency, which may be an indicator of changes in prostate health. This data should not be used to diagnose or treat any illness. Any concerns regarding your health should be discussed with your medical provider. LavWell Technologies makes no claim related to diagnosis of prostate conditions.
3. Participation in the beta test is free of any monetary charge. Participating beta users may convert to paying a data subscription at the end of the test period and retain the toilet for an additional period to be determined, based on product availability and other conditions that may be determined or negotiated by LavWell Technologies. Otherwise, the toilet will be retured to LavWell Technologies at the end of the beta test period.
